Groove Cruise Miami – January 19-23, 2022 – Miami, FL
This epic music festival on a cruise will make its voyage on January 19th, 2023. With headliners like Claptone, Jauz, Markus Shulz, and Nora en Pure, there’s plenty of party to go around. The ship will stop in Labadee, Haiti, for the perfect Caribbean getaway.

Shipwrecked Music Festival – January 27-28, 2023 – Tampa, FL
Gasparilla has been a Tampa tradition for more than 100 years. As music and culture evolved, dance music has been introduced to this beloved pirate extravaganza. This year, Shipwrecked will participate in the festivities by bringing out Green Velvet, Manic Focus, EazyBaked, and others to celebrate.

BPM Festival – January 25-29 – Tamarindo, Costa Rica
This 5-day house and techno festival brings the party to the magnificent jungles of Costa Rica. This year, performances are scheduled for Loce Dice, DJ Minx, Carl Craig, and many others. BMP provides several hotel packages for the ultimate island getaway experience.

February
Gem & Jam Festival – February 3-5, 2023 – Tucson, AZ
With headliners like The String Cheese Incident, LSDREAM, and the Floozies, this chill festival combines jam and EDM in the beautiful city of Tucson. Gem & Jam is a camping festival, so attendees can sleep on-site or find accommodations elsewhere.

Skyline – February 25-26, 2023 – Los Angeles, CA
Brought to EDM fans by Factory93 and Day Trip, Skyline is a house and techno lover’s dream. With artists like Charlotte de Witte, Diplo, Michael Bibi, and Dom Dolla–this weekend will be stacked. The event will be held at Exposition Park, delivering the best of what Downtown LA has to offer.

Wasteland – February 24-25, 2023 – San Bernardino, CA
Basscon’s Wasteland is a rather niche music festival appealing to hardstyle fans across the US. The event will take place at NOS Event Center and host some of the most sought-after names in hardstyle beats like Audiofreq, Ben Nicky, and Code Black.

We Belong Here – February 25, 2023 – Miami, FL
Held at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, We Belong Here is a single-day festival returning for the second year. This time, We Belong Here invites sensational headlines like Kaskade and Lane 8 to carry the vibes throughout the night.

Friendship – February 22 – March 3, 2023 – Miami, FL
Gary Richards, aka took Friendship for its maiden voyage in 2018. Friendship is a cruise-style festival departing from the Port of Miami, and in 2023, it will make stops at Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas. This year, the festival will take place on the Norwegian Pearl.

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival – March 2-5, 2023 – Okeechobee, FL
Held at Sunshine Grove, Okeechobee Fest combines music, art, and community for a beautiful spring weekend under the sun. This year’s headliners include Excision, Odesza, GRiZ, and Baby Keem. Guests are encouraged to camp on-site, as hotel accommodations in the area are limited.

CRSSD – March 4-5, 2023 – San Diego, CA
CRSSD Festival takes place yearly at San Diego’s stunning Waterfront Park. Surrounded by Palm Trees, sand, and the blue Pacific, CRSSD is the ultimate spring break destination. This year, the festival will invite DJs like Odesza, Seth Troxler, and Amémé. There will be some live performances sprinkled in over the weekend as well.

Ultra Music Festival – March 24-26, 2023 – Miami, FL
For more than two decades, Ultra Music Festival has made its home in Downtown Miami. Inviting world-class acts like Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, and Eric Prydz, this is one festival lineup that will be hard to top in 2023. ‘

Beyond Wonderland SoCal – March 24-25, 2023, – San Bernardino, CA
This Insomniac festival has a full roster of DJs spanning all genres of electronic music. This year, attendees can get excited to see DJ Diesel, aka Shaq, Zedd, Vintage Culture, plus many, many more! Artwork and rides are set up to mimic a trippy Alison Wonderland-style dream land.

April
Coachella – April 14-16 & 21-23 – Indio, CA
Coachella has evolved into a two-weekend festival to accommodate the massive crowds it draws each year. Although not exclusive to EDM, the festival historically invites some of the most highly-anticipated dance music acts to grace their stages (typically the DoLab stage installment hosts EDM acts). This year, fans can get excited for Swedish House Mafia, Flume, Disclosure, and many other class acts in dance music.

Backwoods – April 20-23, 2023 – Ozark, AR
Backwoods Festival returns to the beautiful Ozarks with a stacked jam and EDM-infused lineup. Headliners include Big Gigantic, The String Cheese Incident, The Floozies, and Lettuce. Held at Mulberry Mountain, this is surely one of the biggest hidden gems of all 2023 EDM festivals. Attendees are encouraged to camp among the lovely trees on-site.

Ubbi Dubbi – April 22-23, 2023 – Forth Worth, TX
Texas’ premier springtime EDM music festival, Ubbi Dubbi has revealed a stacked 2023 lineup including artists like Kaskade, Liquid Stranger, Dombresky, and Adventure Club. The festival appeals to electronic music fans across all genres–dubstep, house, trance, bass, and beyond.

Sundream Baja – May 4-7, 2023 – San José del Cabo, Mexico
Sundream is Rüfüs Du Sol’s relatively new destination festival. Last year, the trio chose Tulum to host the whimsical beachside production. This year, the group has chosen another beautiful Mexican city, San José del Cabo, to host “a weekend of music and art in hidden gardens by the sea.” In addition to performances by the hosts themselves, Michael Bibi, Tale of Us, and Monolink are just a few other DJs on the lineup. Breakaway Music Festival – May 5-6, 2023 – Charlotte, NC
Breakaway Fest will host major names like Illenium, Tiësto, deadmau5, and more for it’s 2023 Carolina edition. The two-day event will take place at zMax Dragway and welcome fans of all ages.

Hangout Music Fest – May 19-21, 2023 – Gulf Shores, AL
This beachside EDM music festival historically invites artists across various genres to perform. This year, Hangout will have Calvin Harris, Flume, Skrillex, and many others out. Sunset Music Festival – May 27-28 – Tampa, FL
Sunset Music Festival just announced their 2023 dates. The festival will take place over Memorial Day Weekend, as it historically has. Last year saw headliners like LP Giobbi, Dillon Francis, Duke Dumont, so fans have much to look forward to come this spring.

Lightning in a Bottle – TBA – Buena Vista Lake, CA
Southern California’s Lightning in a Bottle has yet to release specific dates but has confirmed it will take place across Memorial Day Weekend. This magical event typically brings out world-class headliners, offers an intimate camping experience, and leaves lots of room for beach time.

EDC Las Vegas – May 19-21, 2023 – Las Vegas, NV
Drawing in a crowd of over half a million fans each year, EDC Las Vegas is one of North America’s biggest EDM music festivals. The massive event takes place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and attendees are encouraged to camp on-site or stay on the Las Vegas Strip and take the festival-provided shuttles over.

Movement – May 28-30, 2023 – Detriot, MI
Movement Detroit takes place in the city that birthed techno. In 2022, they had John Summit, Nina Kraviz, and Gorgon City out to perform. They also go beyond dance music genres, having 2 Chainz out last year. 2023 is expected to be another big year as Movement returns to Detroit for a Memorial Day Weekend celebration.

Forbidden Kingdom – June 9-10, 2023 – Orlando, FL
Recently acquired by Insomniac, Forbidden Kingdom is Florida’s premier dubstep festival. Artists like Excision and Subtronics typically get booked, so fans can always expect a stacked roster.

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival – June 15-28, 2023 – Manchester, TN
This multi-genre camping festival typically draws a myriad of music fans. Festival-goers young and old return to Bonnaroo each year for its unique traditions and impressive lineup. This year shouldn’t be any different!

Electric Forest – June 22-25, 2023 – Rothbury, MI
Electric Forest is a top-tier US music festival run by Insomniac. The yearly event draws fans from across the globe as their favorite DJs and bands perform among the woodsy festival grounds. Electric Forest 2023 has already released the first phase of its lineup, including names like Odesza, Jamie xx, Chris Lake, and Above & Beyond. More names are still to come. Shambhala – July 21-24, 2023 – Salmo, BC
Tucked away in the woods, this elusive Canadian festival has an intimate vibe and creates an immersive festival experience. Last year saw names like Slander, CloZee, Justin Martin, and more. Lollapalooza – August 3-6, 2023 – Chicago, IL
Lollapalooza features many mainstream artists but also showcases some of the top names in EDM. The annual celebration takes place at the famous Grant Park and features a whopping nine stages.

Elements Music & Arts Festival – August 11-14, 2023 – Long Pond, PA
Elements is a small festival in Western Pennsylvania that combines the sacred beauty of the Poconos with music, art, and adventure. Although small in size, it’s mighty in offerings. Last year, the festival enlisted headliners like Claude Von Stroke, Nicole Moudaber, and Sofi Tukker. The festival grounds are tucked away, so camping on-site is recommended.

Electric Zoo – September 1-3, 2023 – New York, NY
Electric Zoo is New York’s premiere electronic music festival. Taking place on Randall’s Island, the music festival offers stunning cityscape views combined with top notch talent. Last year, fans saw DJs like Chris Lake, John Summit, and Svdden Death. Electric Zoo always offers a mix of electronic sounds to appeal to all kinds of festival-goers.

ARC Music Festival – September 1-3, 2023 – Chicago, IL
ARC takes place in the city where house music was born–Chicago–making it that much more special. Each year, dubstep aficionado Excision throws the “dubstep superbowl” at Legend Valley. The prehistoric-themed festival features lifesize dinosaurs, the top names in bass music, and convenient camping options.

Life is Beautiful – September 22-24, 2023 – Las Vegas, NV
For nearly 10 years, Life is Beautiful has fused dance music with singers, bands, and more, creating a holistic music-lover’s paradise. Although the 2023 lineup is still pending, fans can expect something big this year.

III Points – TBA – Miami, FL

EDC Orlando – November 10-12, 2023 – Orlando, FL
Insomniac’s East Coast celebration, EDC Orlando, typically hosts acts across all genres of EDM. The event will take place on Veteran’s Day weekend and is expected to continue the tradition with a competitive lineup.
